Today, five more students challenged the MOS Word certification exam (MO-100) and four succeeded! The four passing scores are 890, 809, 836, and 727.
A seventh is scheduled for two Sundays from now. An eighth is scheduled for two Mondays from now. When the remaining two students catch up with their coursework, they can join one of their classmate's exam session. Beyond MO-200 and MO-300, I was elated to see MO-101, MO-201, MO-400, MO-500 on the list when I proctored my students today. I passed their counterparts in the Office 2016 version of MOS certifications, I look forward to conquering the Office 2019 version :-) I wonder if any of my students have such ambitions... |

Congratulations to all of my colleagues who passed and attempted the examination. Despite the outcome of the test, I believe that this opportunity teaches us so much; for many of us, we couldn't even say we've ever taken a proctored exam in our lives, so that in itself is an experience to grow and learn from. Moreover, I am interested in taking the MO-101 examination, but the cost is quite large. If I was able to attain a voucher, I would not deny the offer. I will likely take the Microsoft Outlook (MO-400) examination first.

DeleteWell done, everyone! It has been fun learning about this new version of Word, and seeing how much it has progressed over the years. I am also excited about receiving my first official certificate ^_^
ReplyDeleteYou won't receive anything but you can log into your Certiport.com account then go to [My Transcripts] where you download a PDF version of your MOS Word certificate :-) When you pass MO-100, MO-200, and MO-300, you would become a MOS Associate and Microsoft Corporation will mail you physical copy of your MOS Associate certificate ^_^

DeleteCongrats to all my classmates regardless of the results. Making it to this point in IS101 is an achievement in itself. 727 that is me, going to frame my PDF copy until I receive an official copy from Microsoft for completing all 3 MOS exams.

DeleteGood luck to the remainingstudents. I'm glad to see that everyone has passed so far. This is just another notch on your tool belt to show during interviews. I plan on studying and obtaining the Microsoft PowerPoint Specialist exam in order to gain the special certification.

DeleteCongrats to all my classmates on all their success so far. I'm so proud of everyone. Although, I was really looking forward to also going for my MOS certification I have decided to not go for it this semester. I just wanna focus on getting all my assignments done and finishing out the semester strong. This past week was such a struggle for me so I feel I am making the right choice just to sit it out this semester and hopefully sometime in the future I can do the exam on my own time and when I mentally ready to take it on.
